Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought Adirondack Cocobolo acoustic guitar is a top model from the Custom Shop workshops.
The front of the guitar is made of North American Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are made of exotic cocobolo wood. The resonance of the soundboard and the overall good acoustic properties of the guitar are enhanced by the special reduced X-ribs (Scalloped Forward-Shifted X-Brace).
An ebony fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the Select Hardwood neck. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearl position markers in the shape of small diamonds and squares (Mother of Pearl) and side white dots. Precise tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the string attachment through the compensated saddle and bone zero fret in the Schaller Gold GrandTune tuning machines and ebony fingerboard. The refined look of the instrument is accentuated by the ebony body surround, the imitation tortoiseshell pickguard, the backboard inlay and the rosewood veneer on the headstock.
Faithful transmission of the instrument's acoustic sound is guaranteed by the L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics with patented Tru-Mic technology combining microphone pickup and Element sub-coil pickup. The controls are discreetly placed in the guitar's soundhole. The guitar comes in a carrying case, making it instantly ready to be loaded into your car/van for long or short trips to pursue your musical dreams.
