Martin 000-12E Koa

The Martin 000-12E Koa is an electroacoustic guitar from the Road Series range, offering quality and craftsmanship in keeping with the brand's tradition and reputation at an affordable price. The smaller size of the "triple strings" (compared to Dreadnought guitars) guarantees good playability and comfort, and their balanced sound can be appreciated when playing with finger technique and pick. The classic look and sound of Martin logo instruments is complemented by modern elements in the form of components made from renewable resources, composite materials and Fishman MX-T electronics with a tuner in the soundhole with auto-mute function for silent tuning.

The front of the guitar is made from solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made from Hawaiian koa veneer glued to an African mahogany (Koa Fine Veneer) base. The Select Hardwood neck, which is attached to the body at the fourteenth fret as standard, is glued to a 20-fret fingerboard made from a modern Richlite composite material. The guitar's good acoustic properties are accentuated by the traditional X-brace front plate.

The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on the Richlite headstock, together with the Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by a rosette composed of black and white rings, black binding and a black pickguard, which also protects the guitar's lacquer from scratches.

The guitar comes in a high-quality soft shell Gig-Bag, making it ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to your musical dreams.
