New Bass Guitar Solid-State Combo / HN268154
The Mini CMD 121 P V bass transistor combo from Markbass is a new version of their flagship model and includes the new Little Mark 58R Combo Head amplifier. With its ergonomic and practical design, all connectors and controls are located on the front panel, while only the speaker outputs and power socket are located on the rear panel, making it easier to operate and improving accessibility. The combo features a new bi-band limiter, MUTE switch and a toggle switch that offers Flat, Scooped or FSW options, giving players great flexibility.
The Mini CMD 121 P V boasts an unsurpassed power-to-weight ratio. The four-band equalizer allows players to find the exact sound they want and increase or decrease the volume of each band by 16 dB. An old school filter removes high frequencies and produces a smooth, round tone. The aforementioned toggle switch lets you choose between a balanced FLAT tone, a SCOOPED preset that lowers mids and boosts bass and treble for a great slap sound, or the FSW option that lets you control MUTE and SCOOPED EQ with an optional dual footswitch.
The new bi-band limiter responds faster and more dynamically than traditional limiters and allows high frequencies to "breathe" more, providing a more natural sound. By adding the New York 121 expansion cabinet, the Mini CMD 121 P V can be turned into a powerful 500W 2x12" stack that can sound a large room with plenty of headroom. Yet it remains compact and takes up very little space on stage, making it an ideal choice for small or large venues.
