This model was made exactly to the specifications of Andrew Gouche, who is also known as the "godfather of gospel basses." He has won many awards throughout his career and has worked on stage or in the studio with legends such as Prince, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias, Madonna, Snoop Dogg and many more. It's no wonder, then, that he has undoubtedly influenced the direction of Gospel and R&B music with his distinctive style and sound, and that he continues to inspire many modern players today.
In the compact package of this seemingly unassuming amplifier, you will find top-quality components that have been carefully tuned to fully satisfy even the truly demanding requirements of an experienced player like Andrew. At the heart of it all is massive power - up to 1000 watts - which allows the amp to deliver great clarity, precise dynamics and huge sonic possibilities. Using the Limiter function, you can then adjust the response of the amplifier over a wide range, allowing you to create totally modern, or really "old-school" sounds, or anything in between.
A five-band equalizer, which you can control with a footswitch (not included), also provides huge sonic possibilities. This then allows you to conveniently use the Mute function, for example. On the back, you'll traditionally find a Speakon output for the speaker box, an XLR D.I. output for convenient recording, an effects loop, a tuner output or ground and pre/post EQ switches.
