The ProFX10v3+ analogue mixing console from renowned manufacturer Mackie continues the trend and flexibly adapts to current trends and requirements. Like the older version without the plus sign in the name, it offers ten channels, a three-band EQ, a compressor, Onyx preamps with 60 dB gain and virtually zero noise for maximum audio clarity, a GigFX effects processor with 24 effects (from reverbs to delay effects) and recording in excellent quality thanks to a 192 kHz/24 bit 2x4 USB interface.
New is a Bluetooth-equipped channel for sending and receiving audio from devices like a smartphone or tablet, offering podcasters an easy way to receive incoming calls. Further expanding the features are three USB recording modes - Standard mode records the entire mix of the main channels including effects and EQ to the PC/DAW, Loopback mode, on the other hand, records audio from the PC to the mixing board, ideal for streaming games or playing/improvising to backing tracks, and Interface mode records the pure signal from main channels 1 and 2 to the PC/DAW without the admixture of effects and EQ.
As with the older version, there are four channels with mic inputs (2x combo XLR/1/4", 2x XLR), line inputs (2 x 1/4", 4 x 1/4" of which 2x stereo, 1 x 1/8" stereo), four inserts, 1x FX Send, headphone output, footswitch input and balanced and unbalanced outputs (2 x XLR, 2 x 1/4" L/R, 2 x 1/4" control room).
