The popular HR series of studio monitors from the 1990s, which earned a place in the hearts of many musicians, sound engineers and gamers with their incredible sound quality and affordability, is back. Today, studio monitoring requires accurate reproduction of recorded recordings, so developers are always working with new technologies, and this is also the case with the new HRmk2 series. The sound baffle, cast from a single piece of zero-edge aluminium, is specially curved to suppress any adverse noise, so the resulting sound is crystal clear, the bass full and powerful, the mids intelligible and the treble frequencies shimmering over your head. The quality of the bass sound is ensured by a passive radiator located on the back of the monitor, which reduces low frequencies and distortion, resulting in a higher SPL level than conventional bassreflexes.

The Macke 824mk2's wooden chassis is specially reinforced with adiabatic foam material to absorb reflections and standing waves inside the cabinet. The monitors house an 8.8" woofer and a 1" tweeter and, together with the Class AB amplifier, provide a maximum output of up to 140W. On the rear panel, you'll find an input signal sensitivity control, a two-band equalizer switch, a voltage switch (100-120V and 220-240V), a three-position acoustic surround switch for the best listening experience, and a three-position power switch with automatic shut-off after eight minutes of inactivity. You can connect your devices to XLR, Jack 6.3 mm and RCA inputs. The monitor can be held vertically or horizontally, and the front logo is movable.
