Mackie's popular CR series of studio monitors have been given a new "X" moniker, representing an updated design with modern features and a metal front panel that accentuates more pronounced contours. The monitors are suitable for creative multimedia production, so they won't be lost in home recording studios, advertising agencies or the open space offices of today's much-loved startup projects. The monitors feature simple controls and flexible connectivity for the most optimal use. When listening, you'll get high-quality sound full of crystal-clear highs and a faithful midrange, including the essential bass frequencies, so you won't miss any important element of your multimedia creations. The CR-X Series monitors offer you high quality at a low price, available in three different sizes, each of which includes a Bluetooth wireless option.

The Mackie CR4-X studio monitors are equipped with a 4" woofer and 0.75" high frequency driver, which together with the Class D amplifier, create a maximum power output of up to 50 W. One of the monitors features a headphone output on the front as well as an easy to access volume control. The rear panel then offers flexible connectivity in the form of two pairs of symmetrical 6.3 mm jack connectors, or an asymmetrical alternative with RCA connectors, and there is also a 3.5 mm stereo jack input for e.g. a music player. A rather sophisticated and original solution is the L/R switch, which determines on which side you want to place the monitor with the volume control, which is particularly useful for left-handed users and in cases where you use a mouse and at the same time need to work with the volume of the monitors. Included in the package is an RCA cable, a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack audio cable, and cables to connect the monitors.
