Line 6 POD GO

The LINE6 POD GO is a lightweight, easily portable guitar multieffect with a simple user interface that can replace your complete guitar rig, i.e. pedal effects, amp and speaker. This makes it an ideal choice for situations where you don't need the full "weight and yardage" of a standard guitar rig, i.e. for home playing/recording, presentations, workshops, but it also serves well as a backup rig.

In a compact body it offers 70 high quality guitar and bass emulations from well-known brands (Fender, Vox, Marshall, Friedman, MES Boogie, Soldano, Engl, Peavey, Ampeg, Aguilar, Pearce, Gallien-Krueger), 37 speakers (and the ability to record up to 128 user IRs), 16 microphones (dynamic, condenser, tape), more than 200 guitar effects (in Dist, Dynamics, EQ, Modulation, Delay, Reverb, Pitch/Synth, Filter blocks), expression pedal with dedicated wah/volume effects and 127 presets, where you can work with four snapshots in each preset, i.e. Four different sounds within one preset.

A definite plus of POD GO is its clear and easy to understand user interface with a colour LCD display, which makes scrolling through effects/presets and editing, saving and recalling them a quick and easy affair. These actions can be performed with the buttons and controls on the main panel, with footswitches (in Preset mode), or in the freely available POD GO Edit app.

The multi-effect also offers an effects loop that allows you to connect to the instrument using the four-cable method, a looper with a capacity of 40 seconds per loop in mono (20 in stereo), a built-in tuner, a tap tempo function, an output for an external expression pedal, a mono/stereo output from the multi-effect, an asymmetrical Amp Out, where in connection with a real guitar instrument you use only the effects database (without modulation of the instruments and speakers) and an output to headphones. The multieffect's USB interface lets you record firmware updates or connect the multieffect to a PC for convenient editing in POD GO Edit. You can also connect POD GO via USB to your PC/MAC/laptop DAW for direct recording and re-amping (in 24bit/96kHz sample rate quality).

The included adapter is used to power the multieffect.
