The LINE6 POD Express Guitar is a portable amp simulator and multieffect that lets you take your sound almost anywhere. It offers seven guitar simulations (Clean, Special, Chime, Dynamic, Crunch, Heavy, Lead), seven speaker simulations and seventeen effects in the Distortion, Modulation, Delay and Reverb categories. There is also a looper. All the sound equipment is sourced from the LINE6 Helix series, the brand's flagship product line. All effects and simulations are guaranteed to be of the highest possible sound quality.
POD Express Guitar offers a maximally simple and intuitive user interface that makes it easy to fine-tune your sound. It has two footswitches for switching between effects and controlling the tap tempo function. The five knobs make it easy to select your preferred instrument and set all effects. Hold down the Alt button to access secondary functions for more detailed sound adjustments (Gain, Mid, Bass, Treble). If the box's control panel isn't enough for you, you can download the free Pod Express Edit software, which gives you advanced setup options. The box contains 21 factory presets, which can of course be overwritten by user presets.
Among the effect's jacks you'll find one mono input, two outputs for stereo effects playback, a headphone output, an output for connecting an external expression pedal, and a USB-C port for easy connection to your computer or phone. Thanks to the USB connection, you can use the box as a travel audio card. The LINE6 POD Express Guitar can be powered using a 9V adapter (not included) or three AA batteries.
