Guitar Modelling Combo / HN270429
Line 6's Catalyst CX series offers three two-channel guitar modeling combos that give you the feel of traditional guitars with the added value of greater versatility. These combos feature 200W, 100W, and 60W of power, twelve guitar voicings taken from the venerable Helix guitars and effects processors (from crystal-clear tones to modern high-gain, each voicing comes with an optional Custom Boost), twenty-four HX effects in four categories (Reverb, Delay, Modulation, Pitch/Filter), tap tempo function, built-in tuner, switchable power including a Mute function for recording/playing with headphones (Mute, ½W , 50% power, 100% power) and standard controls (three-band EQ, overall volume control, channel volume, gain, boost and built-in effects).
The rear panel offers an XLR line output, an effects loop with the ability to use Return as a poweramp in for your modelers, i.e. bypass the preamp and use the combo as an active speaker, MIDI via USB, a four-channel USB interface, an Aux in input for external audio sources, a headphone output and a footswitch input (LFS2 not included). Deeper parameter editing options are offered by the freely available Catalyst Edit app for PC and mobile devices.
The LFS2 footswitch and combo sleeves are sold separately.
