Lewitt LCT 940

Tube Studio Microphone / HN147019
Lewitt microphones from the LCT Authentica series are a new generation of versatile condenser microphones designed primarily for use in studio environments. In addition to perfect sound recording, they also boast innovative technical solutions. These models are used by the most demanding professionals who know how essential even the smallest details are, because every detail is really taken care of in the development and production of Lewitt microphones. The result is microphones that meet even the highest demands.

As for the LCT 940, it's a tube/FET microphone with truly versatile applications - it's great for vocals, choirs, piano, guitars, drums, percussion, cymbals, other stringed instruments, instrumentation, winds and brass. Designed primarily for the studio environment, it won't let you down live. It's very easy to adjust whether the microphone will use tube-only or FET-only technology or both at the same time to get different sound colorations.

In addition to its versatility, its strengths are its ease of use and the very precise sound recording to which all technical parameters are adapted. The aim here is a clear and natural tone, very low susceptibility to feedback, shielding of ambient sounds and zero distortion. Some parameters can be set directly on the microphone, with the settings visualized by backlighting, and the buttons are designed so that switching does not make any sound. In addition, the microphone will slightly mute itself in extreme situations to make recording truly error-free.

The microphone body is all-metal, with a metal grille covering the head. A holder, windproof cover and leatherette case are included.
