Leslie 122 Heritage

Powered Loudspeaker / HN242460
The Leslie 122 Heritage single-channel loudspeaker inspired by the legendary tube preamps that, along with the Hammond organ, wrote the foundations of popular music since the early 1960s. The versatile speaker features a retro design and great vintage sound, making it the ideal companion for live performance and studio sessions. At the heart of the 122 Heritage are the 122 and 147 tube tubes, a massive 15" woofer, a Volume knob, and it's all set in a sturdy construction made from American red walnut.

About Hammond
The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond in 1934. His original intention was to replace the large church organ with a smaller instrument that could be easily transported, while building a cheaper alternative to the air-powered pipe organ. Eventually the hammond became so popular among keyboard players over the years in the 1960s and 1970s that today it can be heard in just about every genre of music from jazz to rock, blues, rock, church and gospel music. Today, the Hammond brand is owned by the Japanese Suzuki Musical Instrument Corporation and the European headquarters of Hammond Suzuki Europe is based in the Netherlands.
