Lava Music guitars say goodbye to the classic construction of stringed plucked instruments. The instruments, made of modern composite materials, are significantly lighter and resistant to the vagaries of weather (adaptable to temperatures from -20 to +80 degrees and humidity up to 90 percent). At the same time, they are far from cheap substitutes with poor sound and approximate intonation; on the contrary, thanks to their unique construction, they offer a beautifully resonant, clear sound that bears comparison with high-quality instruments of traditional construction.

The body of the LAVA ME2 is made entirely from one piece (Unibody Guitar). The material is Super Air Sonic carbon composite, which has the same weight as the Air Sonic but is 20 percent thicker, allowing for the construction of an even thinner lighter soundboard. The innovative design of the front plate (Breathe Net Honeycomb) in a shape reminiscent of a honeycomb guarantees the strength of the mechanical structure as well as excellent acoustic properties.

The neck profile (FlyNeck) provides your fingers and hand with maximum comfort across the entire fingerboard. The design team has carefully added and subtracted neck mass, based on extended research, so that it fits your hand perfectly. The neck is reinforced with two carbon fiber reinforcements - making it up to 300 percent stronger than previous generation instruments. The fingerboard and headstock are made from HPL laminate, a material you'll also see on Taylor guitars. Tuning stability is guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings in tuning machines with a 21:1 gear ratio.

Another innovation is the L2 preamp with built-in FreeBoost technology, which means you don't need any hardware or cables to activate the pickup and effects unit with Reverb, Delay and Chorus effects. The system is similar to Yamaha Transacoustic guitars, where the technology uses the back plate as a resonator for the vibrations captured by the pickup. However, the guitar also offers a standard sound system option. In addition to microphone pickup, you can use the internal microphone to capture percussive sounds and set the ideal pickup/mic ratio.

Charging of the pickup is done via USB cable. The instrument comes in a high-quality Ideal Bag 2 case shaped to the exact dimensions of the guitar.
