The Laney IRF-LOUDPEDAL is a two-channel transistor amplifier in a pedal effect format. It is a product of the Ironheart Foundry series, which reproduces the characteristics of Ironheart tube amplifiers but brings them in a new ultra-compact form without compromising their incredible power and versatility.
The IRF-LOUDPEDAL offers 60 watts of power and two footswitchable channels with a wide range of sounds from crystal clear signal to rock distortion. Each channel has its own mod switch. The Channel 1 (CH1) switch has Clean/Rhythm/Lead modes, so it covers the spectrum of sounds from a clean, low-compression signal to an aggressive distorted tone. The Channel 2 switch (CH2), on the other hand, has three EQ voicings - use Bright to accentuate the highs, Flat to give you a linear response and Dark to accentuate the bass frequencies. You can then fine-tune individual frequencies with the three-band EQ, which is common to both channels. A second footswitch, the so-called Boost, is used to boost the signal and give your sound the necessary shine and drive.
You can connect the Laney IRF-LOUDPEDAL to an 8-16 ohm speaker and use it as a regular guitar or use the XLR DI speaker emulation output to send the signal directly to a mixer or soundcard. Another option is to connect the device to a regular combo and use it as an overdrive pedal. On the rear panel, you'll find a headphone output for quiet home practice, an Aux in for playing backing tracks, and a transformer-isolated effects loop for integrating your favorite pedal effects. A power adapter is included.
