Laney A-Fresco 2

The Laney A - Fresco-2 is a compact, portable 60 watt acoustic combo that is a good choice for a wide range of acoustic instruments - from acoustic guitars and basses to harps, cellos, accordions, etc. This will be appreciated by songwriters, buskers, two acoustic players or musicians who want to combine the signal from the pickups with the acoustic sound picked up by the microphone.

A powerful Class D amplifier and a wide-band eight-inch speaker fully compensate for the smaller size of the unit and provide ample drive in a pleasantly clear sound. The main panel offers separate controls for each of the channels in the form of a three-band EQ complemented by a Shape button for brightening the sound, i.e. highlighting the highs, separate Level controls for adjusting the input signal level, built-in Reverb and Chorus effects (the Reverb controls are used to adjust the level of both effects) and a shared Master Volume control. You'll be pleased with the handy Anti-Feedback functions for suppressing the feedback effect (a common accompaniment when voicing aria acoustic instruments), Phase for reversing the phase, or the Mute option, which mutes the signal of both channels (not the line input and effects loop).

The rear panel offers a balanced DI XLR output for direct connection of the instrument to a mixer or recording device with optional grounding and Pre/Post EQ selection, an effects loop for external effects/effects unit integration, an input for the FS-2 Mini footswitch (not included), a headphone output, an Aux In input for external audio sources, and an EQ switch with four preset audio modes. You will appreciate this function depending on the nature of the environment, acoustic characteristics and the current purpose of use.

The combo can be mounted to speaker stands with a standard 35 mm pole diameter. Power is supplied by the included 24V DC adapter or by the included rechargeable Li-Ion batteries with 24 hours of power per charge.
