Kurzweil KP120A Oriental Keyboard is a keyboard with dynamic stroke and adjustable keyboard sensitivity. They have a range of five octaves (61 keys). It offers 160 high-quality corporate presets with character keyboard (pianos, organs, synthesizers) string (guitars, basses, strings), woodwind (woodwinds, brass), percussion and a wide range of oriental/ethnic instruments including percussion. Twelve special buttons allow you to select the desired Arabic/Oriental scale in real time (each button is assigned to one of the semitones of the chromatic scale).

For the selected presets, you can further adjust the keyboard sensitivity (Touch function) and its tuning (Transpose and Tune functions). It's also standard to add some useful features and effects to your playing - here in the form of Dual, Left Voice/Split, the popular Pitch/Bend wheel and eight different Reverb effects.

Many will also appreciate the choice of 130 interactive auto-accompaniments in a variety of musical genres. Each accompaniment consists of an introduction/ intro, a main theme with a selectable rhythmic transition (Fill) and an ending. You can determine the chordal character of the accompaniment by striking one or two keys (Single Finger) or by playing the entire chord (the KP300X chord library can recognize 31 different chords). Separately adjusting the volume and tempo of the automatic accompaniment ensures that your virtual backing band will always play exactly to your liking.

The keyboard also offers four multipads with presets (you can substitute percussion sounds from the keyboard database), a five-track recorder with the ability to create a single user song, and a memory capable of storing six of your favorite settings, compatibility with MIDI devices/controllers and connection to your PC via MIDI IN/OUT connectors, a line output allowing you to connect your hi-fi rig/speakers to the keys, a headphone output for quiet and undisturbed practice or a separate output for an external sustain pedal (included). Basic volume, tempo or metronome functions are standard.

Everything is housed in a stylish chassis with built-in speakers with a total output of 10W. All controls are clearly arranged on the front key panel, and the multifunction LCD display will always reliably inform you about the current settings. A 12V adapter is used for power supply.
