Three listening modes
Built-in DSP technology provides three different modes that affect frequency response. Mix mode with flat frequency and phase response is best for mixing, mastering and critical listening. Create Mode is more inspiring to listen to, best suited for songwriting, production and casual listening. Focus Mode is focused on the midrange, and is used for critical analysis of the frequency range where vocals and most instruments have the most energy. It's like having three pairs of monitors in one.

Ambient Correction
The ROKIT 7 Generation Five also features 25 combinations of boundary-tuning equalizers to help minimize and correct for problems in the acoustic environment. With the help of an encoder and monochrome display on the back of the chassis or the free KRK App, easy and precise adjustment of the recording environment is available.

The ROKIT 7 Generation Five features a 7" woven Kevlar aramid fiber woofer for superior damping and modal decay control. The 1" diameter tweeter utilizes a high silk dome tweeter that smoothly extends the frequency range up to 40 kHz. Maximum transient response and dynamic reproduction are provided by Class D bi-amp power amplifiers that excite both drivers equally with a total of 145 watts.

The cabinet design features low diffraction to minimize distortion and enhance stereo performance, as well as an optimized front bassreflex port for increased low-frequency performance. Included with the monitor are two magnetic faceplates for flexible grille mounting and acoustic foam isolation pads to minimize resonance and promote proper assembly placement. There are also integrated mounting points for use with optional KRK mounting brackets, ideal for installations in recording or production studios.
