The XVP-20 is Korg's Volume/Expression pedal, the follow-up to the highly successful XVP-10, which has been on sale continuously since 1994. The new version is more compact and offers improved features.
The big advantage of this pedal is that it features two inputs and outputs. So you can plug in two different effects, for example, and control their parameters with the same waveform. The pedal also has an Expression output for connecting additional equipment.
Using the Volume potentiometer, which has been moved to the rear panel for better reach compared to the previous model, you can set the minimum volume level the pedal gets to. Everything is housed in a very durable aluminum chassis that both stands up well to the elements and gives the pedal excellent stability. The mechanics of the pedal have also been changed, providing a very smooth and precise action when pressed. In addition, thanks to an accessible screw that is stored under the pedal, the pedal torque can be adjusted to the player's personal preference.
