Korg Wavestate Module

The KORG wavestate brings big changes to the music production environment and all the features of the wavestate mkII in a compact 19" desktop/rackmount design.

Featuring a radically redesigned Wave Sequencing 2.0 system, the new wavestate delivers amazing, ever-changing sounds with extensive hands-on control. Far from being a nostalgic re-release, Wavestate has been designed from the ground up for a new generation of musicians, producers and composers, taking cues from sources as diverse as modular synths, groove boxes and algorithmic composition.

120 voices of polyphony, updated LFOs and other features
The wavestate module takes full advantage of the new enclosure design and new processing hardware, offering an impressive 120 stereo voices of polyphony. The new 4U rack-mountable chassis features the same controls as the keyboard models, yet the module is easily portable and fits neatly into any studio or desktop production system. In response to user requests, all LFOs have also been updated with free running, delayed start and retriggering options, including the addition of new modulation sources and much more. Software updates will also be available for the original wavestate. The wavestate module is fully compatible with the sounds and samples of the original wavestate, wavestate mk II, wavestate SE and native wavestate software, as well as many excellent third-party libraries.

MIDI 2.0 and aftertouch support with polyphony
With the latest software updates, all wavestate models, hardware and software, now support MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange. Hundreds of original factory sounds have been updated to include Polyphonic Aftertouch modulation (Channel Aftertouch is also supported). All of this makes the wavestate module an excellent companion to the Korg Keystage controller.

Rack-mount or desktop?
The wavestate module is cleverly designed for desktop use or rack-mounting. The panel is redesigned to fit a standard 19" width, and the rear panel with connectors is recessed to allow easy access to cables even when other equipment is mounted directly above the wavestate. For desktop use, the mounts can be used as a stand to allow for a choice of panel angles - straighter, suitable for playing standing up, or more upright for seated studio work.

Free music software package
The KingKORG NEO comes with a wealth of music software from Izotope, including 'Ozone Elements', which allows you to not only create tracks but also edit them using artificial intelligence, 'Skoove' software to help you improve your keyboard playing skills, as well as software synths from KORG and other brands. In other words, the moment you get your hands on this synth, you'll have a whole host of tools at your disposal to help you take your music to the next level.
