Tuner with Metronome / HN185533
The successor to the popular TM-50 metronome tuner offers tried and tested features, but continues to innovate for maximum user-friendliness. This is primarily due to the up to one-third larger backlit display for greater clarity in any situation. A major advantage is the ability to use both tuner and metronome modes simultaneously, with both functions displayed on the screen at the same time.
In addition to the ability to reproduce a reference tone, the tuner also includes a Sound Back mode. This analyses the input signal from your instrument, generates the closest sound to it and compares it to the reference tone. The pitch difference is shown on the display. Reproducing these two tones and then fine-tuning them can work well for aural training. The tuner also recognizes minor and major thirds according to a predetermined pitch. This function will be appreciated not only by wind instrument players, but also by singers, for example.
The metronome has a wide tempo range of 30-252 BPM and there are 15 rhythmic variations for practicing a wide range of musical styles. You'll be sure to use the headphone output to practice both rhythm and intonation.
Compared to the original model, the tuner offers up to twice the battery life, so you can use its functions for up to 130 hours. The hinged stand on the back is also practical, making it easier to read when placed on a table, for example.
Also included is a Korg CM-200 contact microphone in white.
