The KORG Grandstage X is a premium stage piano with a distinctive look and inspiring sounds. Korg's new flagship stage piano is now completely redesigned, offering seven inspiring sound engines, 700 pre-installed sounds, a user-friendly interface and an aesthetic design in a sleek combination of black and light ivory. Every aspect of Grandstage X is intuitively organized, making it easy to select and play your favorite sounds in the highest possible sound quality while making this instrument a visual centerpiece, whether on stage or in the studio.
Seven inspiring sound sources Grandstage X features seven independent sound engines, each of which acts as a standalone product. These engines provide unmatched sound and performance quality for a wide range of sounds, making Grandstage X stand out as the flagship among stage pianos.
Premium piano and electric piano sounds thanks to the SGX-2 and EP-1 ● Grandstage X features the SGX-2 acoustic piano sound bank and includes an extensive library of other world-famous pianos. The SGX-2 offers the subtle and powerful expressiveness of an acoustic piano at the highest level, with non-looping samples on all keys, velocity switching at up to 12 levels, damper resonance - reproducing the sound of the pedal being depressed and even its mechanical sound. The result is a piano sound that delivers the subtle and powerful expressiveness of an acoustic piano at the highest level. ● The new GSX Piano and Nautilus Piano can even be layered with the GSX Far Piano and Nautilus Far Piano to create the perfect piano ambience of your choice. Other piano sounds include the famous grand and small grand pianos, OASYS pianos popular with bands, Korg's legendary SG1D stage pianos, M1 pianos essential for 80s and 90s style pop sounds, fortepianos, period instruments, and many more. ● In response to the demands of many professional players, three monophonic pianos and a variant tailored for mid-range expression are available. Specially assembled from a monophonic recording source, these monophonic piano tones and frequency-adjusted pianos, which do not occupy a wide panoramic spectrum and do not interfere with the bandwidth of other instruments in the band, provide unmatched clarity and harmony, and offer previously unavailable performance options that are suitable for many live or studio applications. ● The "EP-1" bank of electric pianos now includes the Tine I Early model, whose earthy, distorted tone reproduces the familiar sound we all know and love from many classic recordings. The collection also includes seven other vintage electric piano sounds: the Tine I Late, Tine II, Tine V, DMP 200 and 200A. An evolution of the velocity switch concept, MDS (Multi-Dimensional Synthesis) technology responds smoothly to even the most delicate touches on the keyboard. For enthusiasts, German and Tablet EPs are available with sound designs that perfectly simulate and apply realistic amps, cabinets, and even vintage effects.
Three unique organ sounds The CX-3 is a perfect reproduction of Korg's famous organ, the period VOX transistor organ was a major influence on popular music in the 1960s, and the second transistor model, the FC-1, reproduces the small organs that dominated that era along with the VOX organ. Combined with the rotary speaker effect built into the sound source and the vibrato effect, you can really enjoy the pleasure of playing the organ.
Diverse sound possibilities Grandstage X boasts a total of 700 sound programs. In addition to the sound engine listed above, Grandstage X also includes an AL-1 analogue sound modelling source for crisp solos and thick brass sounds, and an additional HD-1 PCM source for a wide range of tones and many characteristic keyboard instrument sounds, such as the eight-step multi-sampled Clavi D and Clavi E, harpsichord, pipe organ, six-step multi-sampled electric piano and FM electric piano with a unique metallic sound.
Amazing design Grandstage X features a distinctive design that is instantly recognisable and destined to become an icon. The solid, painted aluminum body is designed with smooth curves and perforated metal side panels. The vintage and futuristic look is combined with a bright ivory white top panel.
Part Control The part control section is clearly arranged with three buttons and sliders. The button activations allow you to use layers, split the keyboard or adjust the volume balance at will. The program name for each part is shown on the display for easy editing. Layers and splits can be used simultaneously, so for example the right hand can be layered with piano and strings and the left hand can be layered with bass and a custom selection of the added instrument.
Nutube The Analog Tone function provides an analogue tube sound, the potentiometer can be used to adjust the level of effect so you can find the level of saturation you like best.
Enhance the sound with effects and an equalizer Grandstage X makes it easy to control the Reverb and Delay effects directly on the main panel, so you can quickly switch between effect types and adjust their depth. A new shimmer reverb has also been added, and a three-band EQ is available to adjust the overall character of the sound.
Unison There's a Unison feature familiar from analogue synths but unique to stage pianos. By adding this feature to the sound of a synth or FM piano, an expansive and exquisite chorus-like effect can be obtained. You can also adjust the number of notes using the unison slider.
User-friendly rhythm and chord section Grandstage X is equipped with a rhythm and chord progression function. A full rhythm track consisting of drums and bass can be assigned to the chords being played or to a preset chord progression, and can be played on the Grandstage X alone or as a backing track.
The premium Japanese RH3 keyboard Precision-built in Japan, the Grandstage X features a Real Weighted Hammer Action. The RH-3 is carefully designed to reproduce the weight distribution of a piano with a heavier response in the lower register and a lighter touch in the upper register, allowing you to experience the expression and feel typical of classical acoustic instruments.
Free music software package The KingKORG NEO comes with a wealth of music software from Izotope, including "Ozone Elements", which allows you to not only create songs but also edit them using artificial intelligence, "Skoove" software to help you improve your keyboard playing skills, as well as software synthesizers from KORG and other brands. In other words, the moment you get your hands on this synth, you'll have a whole host of tools at your disposal to help you take your music to the next level.
The ST-WGS wooden keyboard stand (sold separately) is specially designed to match the curves of the Grandstage X body. With the elegance of real wood, this stand is perfect for the modern living room or any stage.
