The Koch Classictone II 40 Combo guitar tube combo dusts off the glory of vintage tube guitars, both in appearance and sound, which the company itself describes in the text as "yesteryear's sound ".
It's a three-channel combo (Clean, Overdrive, Overdrive Boost) with 40 watts of power and the crystal-clear ringing sound of EL84 end tubes, offering you a cool fusion of warm clean sound and tube-heavy overdrive distortion with the imprint of vintage British machines. The three-position Level knob (Home, Studio, Stage) acts as an attenuator, so you can easily adjust the volume to suit the situation and enjoy warm tube compression on stage, in the studio and at home.
The main control panel allows you to adjust the sound with the three-band EQ, enrich it with spring reverb, adjust the volume of the clean and OD channels and the level of distortion of the OD channel. You can switch between channels using the panel switch or the included footswitch. The rear panel offers a footswitch input, a serial effects loop for integrating your favorite pedal effects, unbalanced jack and balanced XLR outputs with speaker simulation for recording, and output to an external speaker box (8 ohm impedance).
The heart of the cabinet is the VG12-60 12" Koch 12" speaker.
