The KDP75 digital piano is the latest addition to the award-winning family of instruments from Kawai. Combining more than 90 years of piano manufacturing experience with the latest technical innovations brings unsurpassed musical enjoyment to players of all levels. The KDP75 is an excellent and attractively priced introduction to the quality and performance of Kawai digital pianos.
The KDP75 offers the incredible feel and tone of a premium piano. The highly regarded Kawai Responsive Hammer Compact (RHC) keyboard includes 88 balanced keys that provide an incredibly authentic acoustic piano-like feel.
The stunning tone of the concert grand is the result of Kawai's patented Harmonic Imaging technology, which meticulously records the nuances of every note of Shigeru Kawai's acclaimed concert grand.
The KDP75's handy lesson feature allows aspiring pianists to learn the piano with classical pieces by Czerny, Burgmüller and Beyer, or with a collection of pieces from Alfred's popular Basic, Adult and Premier books (Alfred books sold separately). KDP75 places a strong emphasis on acoustic piano realism, also includes traditional finger exercises, scales and warm-up exercises, and includes companion books to all classical scores to further aid piano development. There are recording and playback options for performances, a metronome and USB connectivity.
The KDP75 allows players to control the instrument's functions via the Kawai PianoRemote app for iOS and some compatible Android devices. The app connects to the piano via USB, making it easy to change sounds, access Kawai's exclusive virtual technician, or take advantage of a wide range of built-in musical content.
The KDP75's Spatial Headphone Sound (SHS) technology enhances the depth and realism of the instrument's sound when listened to through headphones. In addition, the KDP75 allows players to select the type of headphones used (open, semi-open, closed, in-ear, canal, etc. ) for optimized listening with less ear fatigue. Two headphone outputs are available.
