The Kawai ES920 is a versatile digital piano that features a Responsive Hammer III precision keyboard, SK-EX, SK-5 and EX concert grand piano sound, Bluetooth wireless technology, a large selection of electric pianos and other instruments, an organ with cymbal simulation, a wide range of parameter settings and a control panel with four clear zones. Perfect for a gig.

The Responsive Hammer III keyboard very closely mimics the feel of playing an acoustic piano, including different balances of lower and higher keys. Each key has three sound sensors and the let-off mechanism faithfully mimics the playing of soft notes when the keys are "tickled". The surface is made of synthetic ivory, so should the player later decide to switch to an acoustic piano, the difference will be minimal.

The sound of the concert grand has been carefully recorded on a note-by-note basis, and the Harmonic Imaging XL technology mimics the interplay of the individual components of the concert grand when the keys are pressed, such as the mutual resonance of the strings and more. The overall sound is therefore very complex and true to life, thanks in part to an internal memory that can hold extra-long samples, bringing out even the smallest details.

The control panel includes a clear display, a four-band EQ for adjusting the output signal, modulation effects, Reverb, amp simulators. You'll also have a USB input for memory devices, while the "Recorder" section lets you control playback of your backing tracks and recording of your own tracks.

All parameters can be tuned down to the smallest detail thanks to the virtual engineer in Smart Mode. Even more precise options are offered in Advanced Mode, in which you can use the PianoRemote app for OS and Android to adjust the strength of the keys, tune (or detune) individual strings, or determine the degree of the sound effect of pressing and releasing a key.

There are MIDI inputs and outputs, a line input with volume control, a line output, two headphone outputs for you and your four-handed accompanist, and a pedal. The F-10H pedal is included with the music stand.
