The Kawai CA901 is a superbly crafted digital piano that excels on several fronts and will satisfy even the most demanding musicians.
Accurate performance is ensured by the premium Grand Feel III keyboard with ivory and ebony wood keys, three sensors for perfectly accurate positioning of each key, let-off simulation and a weight that makes the lower keys more rigid, just like an acoustic piano.
Superior sound is guaranteed with the SK-EX concert grand's multi-channel sampling technology for all 88 keys. There are four player modes (4 Hand mode, split mode, dual mode, reverb/effects), the ability to adjust string resonance and aliquots or a virtual technician with nineteen adjustable parameters.
This allows you to customize the piano, including such details as setting the delay of the hammer, the touch curve, the sound of the key being played, customizing the pedals, etc.
Of course, there's a sophisticated sound system with three speakers, and when you plug in headphones, spatial simulation is activated, making playing with headphones much more natural. The piano also includes a two-track integrated recorder with the ability to record up to 90,000 notes.
There is wireless Bluetooth MIDI, a five-inch touchscreen LCD display, playback and recording in MP3, WAV, SMF (playback only), USB input or a fine cabinet with a six-position music stand.
