Following the launch of the successful BanTamP range of hybrid guitar amplifiers in the ultra-compact, popular lunchbox shape, Joyo has now come out with a model designed for bass players. You can handle these mini machines with one hand or even one finger - they really weigh next to nothing. What is even more surprising is their power output of fifty watts and their volume, i.e. they are full-size amplifiers. They offer simple controls, a compressor and an effects loop, which is not commonplace in instruments this small and at this price level. Bluetooth compatibility allows you to stream music from your smartphone or other device and freely improvise to it, while the headphone output with speaker emulation allows you to play quietly and undisturbed, even at late hours, without the risk of complaints from your immediate surroundings.

In addition to volume and gain controls, the BaDass model also offers a three-band EQ that, in conjunction with the 12AX7 tube in the preamp, provides a very versatile and punchy sound that even much larger amplifiers would not be ashamed of. The aforementioned compressor then features, in addition to the adjustable level, an LED indicator for signal clipping and, most importantly, the ability to control it with the included footswitch.
