Acoustic Instrument Combo / HN171129
The AC-40 acoustic combo from Joyo is the follow-up to the previous, smaller AC-20 model. Following numerous requests, it offers double the power in the form of forty watts and a built-in rechargeable battery with a three-hour battery life. This makes it an exceptionally good choice for all buskers, but it will certainly make its mark in smaller club and theatre environments as well.
The two channels of the combo have separate drivers. The sonic character of the guitar/instrument channel can be shaped by the three-band EQ, volume control and three DSP effects Chorus, Delay and Reverb, which can be used separately or simultaneously. The microphone channel is equipped with Volume potentiometers and a separate Reverb control, determining the amount of effect distortion on the selected, i.e. microphone, channel only. The Aux In input on the rear panel allows you to connect an external source to the combo and play and jam freely to audio/MP3 tracks.
The overall good impression is accentuated by the design in the form of a black tolex and a wheat-coloured front translucent fabric. A sturdy handle on the top simplifies handling of the combo. All that's left to do is pick up the guitar and hit the streets.
