Sweet Tea V3 offers two overdrive/distortion pedals in one body. Specifically, these are the company's Moonshine V2 and Angry Charlie V3 boxes, whose sounds can be used separately or layered in any order (the switch is used for this purpose).
The Moonshine V2 is a versatile lo-mid gain overdrive pedal for guitar or bass that works great as a gain boost. This box will add its own feel and character to your basic guitar sound, i.e. it is not a transparent overdrive. The pedal can be used in blues, country, jazz, classic rock, as well as harder rock/metal styles
The Angry Charlie V3 guitar overdrive/distortion pedal is one of the amp-in-boxes that successfully capture the sound of a specific era and instrument. In this case, it is the sound of the legendary British Marshall JCM800, which fundamentally influenced the shape of 80s hard rock and heavy metal. The box picks up where another JHS Charlie Brown pedal leaves off, in the golden era of classic rock, and delivers a full tone with more gain that sounds great in chord breakdowns, strict metal riffs and vocal solos.
All electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis, with a 9V adapter for power.
