The X series of the American brand Jackson represents a medium range of electric guitars with typical corporate design and great playing characteristics, which you can get at a relatively affordable price. Specifically, the Kelly models offer the popular Explorer body shape.
The construction of this guitar consists of poplar body wings and a through-molded maple neck reinforced with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The maple fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets. Its combined radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by black Sharkfin position markers.
Two proprietary high-output humbuckers give the guitar the juicy sound much needed in metal and rock music. Volume potentiometers, tone controls, and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose double-reverse tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Stability of tuning during frequent use of the lever is guaranteed by locks on the zero fret.
