The X series of the American brand Jackson represents a medium range of electric guitars with typical corporate design and great playing characteristics, which you can get at a relatively affordable price. Specifically, the Soloist models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.
The construction of this guitar consists of nyatoh wood wings and a through-molded maple neck reinforced with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The fig fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The combination of three proprietary pickups, i.e. a high output neck humbucker and two Mini Rail pickups, gives the guitar a wide range of sounds suitable not only for metal, but also for hard rock or classic rock. For those who like to keep things in order, the Mini-Rail pickups are not traditional single-coil pickups, but mini-humbuckers the size of singles (the manufacturer lists them as single-coil). Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments.
The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose Special double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Tuning stability with frequent use of the lever is guaranteed by locks on the zero fret.
