The PRO SPECTRA IV electric bass is a well-made instrument whose essence is captured in its name - a bass for professionals. Spectra models are designed especially for modern players who are not afraid to experiment. They have a stylish design, unbeatable tone and a very wide sound spectrum.
The bass offers a multi-laminated body (poplar/oak/maple/walnut/mahogany) adorned with an awesome finish. The five-piece maple and walnut neck with graphite bracing guarantees maximum neck stability and good sustain, while its fast profile and compound radius fingerboard made of heat-treated jatoba wood with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets give you high playing comfort.
The Nordstrand SB4's Soapbar pickups with Alnico V magnets offer a balanced sound with a brighter, cleaner and punchier characteristic. Volume control, Blend, three-band active EQ, switch between active and passive electronics and a three-position midrange switch offer a wide range of sonic settings. The bypass capability of the active electronics removes the risk of sound degradation from a "dying" battery. Strings are anchored in die-cast Jackson tuners and Jackson single-string tailpiece. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the color-coordinated 2x2 headstock with the J logo.
