Jackson Pro Dinky DK2 EB BKW

Electric Guitar / HN218653
The Pro series of the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for professional players and the general music public. In addition, instruments with typical company design, quality workmanship and great playing characteristics can still be purchased at a price that won't break your budget. Specifically, the Dinky models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.

The ash body of this guitar is adorned with a spectacular Baked White finish. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets is glued to a bolted maple neck with graphite bracing. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position dots made of imitation mother-of-pearl.

The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB (B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides the sound with a balanced balance of aggression and warmth, as well as the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used for sound adjustments, with only the inner coils of the humbuckers active at positions 2, 3 and 4, i.e. the guitar offers a pure single-coil sound with S-S configuration at position 3.

The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose (1000 Series) double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing.

For several decades now, electric guitars from the American brand Jackson have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's list of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
