The Pro series of the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for professional players and the general music public. In addition, instruments with typical company design, quality workmanship and great playing characteristics can still be purchased at a price that won't break your budget. Specifically, the Rhoads models offer the popular Flying V body shape while paying homage to Randy Rhoads, who was a big fan of playing the "V".

The construction of the Pro Rhoads RRT-5 EB GBK consists of mahogany body wings and a through-molded maple neck reinforced with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with twenty-two jumbo-sized frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. The position markers in shark fin design (Alumiloid Sharkfin) make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.

Two Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers with ceramic magnets and high output signal provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing the density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments.

The strings are held in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and through a TOM-style solidbody bridge. The stylish look is accentuated by the Gloss Black color finish and gold hardware and pickguard/control plate.
