Jackson's history dates back to the 1970s and intersects with the turbulent rise of hard music styles rooted in metal. Metal players immediately took to these instruments and to this day Jackson guitars are designed especially for them. Legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne) has a hand in this, as he and Jackson designers drew the Concorde guitar design on a paper napkin in the early 1980s, redefining the sound of the metal guitar forever.
Jackson's PRO series guitars are instruments characterized by the use of premium materials, sophisticated craftsmanship and quality components that make the playing experience truly unique. The body of this guitar is made of mahogany. The maple neck with graphite bracing reinforcement is bolted to the body. It is great for fast playing, which is accommodated by the ebony fingerboard, whose radius is combined and flattens towards the body. There are 22 jumbo frets. The typical shark fins serve to orient the fingerboard. The gauge of the instrument is 648 mm. The width of the zero fret is 43 mm.
The strings are anchored in a double-lock Floyd Rose tremolo with two locks and low profile, the tuning is done with chrome-plated Jackson Die-Cast tuning machines. Of course, there is a zero fret lock. All of this means your guitar will stay perfectly in tune no matter what you decide to do with it.
Sound pickups are handled by the tried-and-true combination of two humbuckers, in this case quality pickups from Seymour Duncan. You can switch between them using a three-position switch, and a volume control for each pickup separately and a tone shield are used to further shape the tone.
