The body of the Pro Plus Series DK Modern MS HT6 Gloss Black electric guitar is made of linden. The bolted-on three-piece maple and wenge neck is reinforced with graphite bracing, and the ebony fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets.

The currently popular multi-scale concept, i.e. fitting the fingerboard with diagonally placed frets, gives the instrument a variable menzatura (648 mm - 673 mm) and the strings optimum tension. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shredding at higher positions. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers in imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, giving you perfect visibility even in the darkest parts of the stage.

Two active Fishman Fluence Modern PRF-MH7 humbuckers guarantee a piercing, aggressive dynamic sound. By switching between the two pickup voicings (push/pull tone shutter function), they offer the best of both worlds - the full aggressive push of the active pickups and the dynamics and punch of the passive ones. Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by attaching the strings through the TusQ XL zero fret in Gotoh locking mechanisms and through the solid Hipshot 6 bridge through the body of the guitar.
