Jackson Pro Gus G. Star PF IVR

(1) Electric Guitar / HN212117
The Pro series of the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for professional players and the general music public. In addition, instruments with typical company design, quality workmanship and great playing characteristics can still be purchased at a price that won't break your budget. This particular signature model by Gus G., a solo guitarist best known for his work in Ozzy Osbourne's band, features one of the original Jackson/Charvel hard & heavy Star body designs.

The construction of this guitar is composed of mahogany body wings and a through-molded maple neck with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The pau ferro wood fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo-size frets, and its twelve-inch radius offers the necessary comfort for playing ultra-fast guitar solos and sustaining guitar riffs in the zero-fret position. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.

Two active Gus G signature humbuckers. Proteus high output signal give the guitar a juicy sound with precise tone articulation and accurate response to the dynamics of your playing - ideal for playing phrased metal and rock riffs, singing solos or fast shredding. Minimalist controls in the form of a volume potentiometer and three-position switch are fully tailored to the needs of metal players and heavy rockers.

Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the string attachment in the company's lockable Die-Cast mechanisms and the adjustable Jackson TOM-Style fixed tailpiece and strings. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a gloss Ivory finish, white body binding and chrome hardware.

For several decades now, electric guitars from the American brand Jackson have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm, sound.
