The Pro series of the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for professional players and the general music public. In addition, instruments with typical company design, quality workmanship and great playing characteristics can still be purchased at a price that won't break your budget. Specifically, the Dinky models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.

The body of this seven-string guitar is made of linden. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets is glued to a bolt-on neck with graphite bracing composed of two maple parts and a wenge middle part. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers in imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, giving you perfect visibility even in the darkest parts of the stage.

Two active Fishman Fluence Open Core humbuckers give the guitar a dynamic, clearly articulated sound and a wide range of sonic options, taking advantage of three different pickup settings (voicing 1-3). At positions 2, 3 and 4 of the five-position blade switch, the guitar offers single coil sounds of voicing 3, while raising the tone shield (push/pull) at positions 1 and 5 activates voicing 2.

Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the TusQ XL zero-fret string attachment in Gotoh locking mechanisms and the Evertune tailpiece, which compensates for string tension during plucking and sharper playing, ensuring the guitar stays in tune in all conditions.

For several decades, American-made Jackson electric guitars have appealed primarily to musicians in metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
