This seven-string guitar is the signature model of Chris Broderick (Act of Defiance, In Flames-live, ex-Megadeth). The guitar's construction consists of mahogany body wings and a through neck made of one piece of maple with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The fig wood fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets, and its twelve-inch radius offers the necessary comfort for playing ultra-fast guitar solos and sustaining guitar riffs in the zero fret position.

Two of Chris Broderick's passive signature DiMarzio humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness, dynamics and articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing the density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Volume and Tone potentiometers equipped with push/pull function are used for sonic adjustments - pulling up Volume splits the humbucker coils, while the Tone potentiometer can be bypassed with push/pull. You can switch between pickups with a three-position switch, the Killswitch instantly mutes the signal, or you can use it to create a stutter effect.

The strings are mounted in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and in a solid bridge, i.e. seven separate saddles with the strings anchored through the body of the guitar. You'll also appreciate the Dunlop rollers with dual-locking strap buttons.
