The X series of the American brand Jackson represents a mid-range electric guitar with typical corporate design and great playing characteristics, but still at a relatively affordable price. Specifically, the Soloist models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.
The construction of the X SERIES SL1A DX - RD CROSS DAGGER consists of a poplar body and a through-molded maple neck with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The fig fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The combination of a high output humbucker and a mini-rail high output neck pickup provides the guitar with a full dynamic sound with great sustain suitable for all branches of hard and heavy styles. For those who love order, the mini-rail pickups are not traditional single-coil pickups, but mini-humbuckers the size of singles (the manufacturer lists them as single-coil). The character of the sound can be adjusted with the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch.
The strings are housed in the company's die-cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose Special double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the graphic Cross Dagger motif on a red background and black hardware.
