The JS series offers affordable electric guitars with all the typical Jackson features you associate with the brand and various forms of rock and metal music. Specifically, the Rhoads models offer the popular Flying V body shape, while paying homage to Randy Rhoads, who was fond of playing the "V".
The body of this guitar is made of poplar. The bolted maple neck is reinforced with graphite bracing, and the amaranth (purpleheart) fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shredding at higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
Two proprietary humbuckers with ceramic magnets and a high output signal give the guitar the juicy sound so needed in metal and rock music. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a licensed Floyd Rose double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. The stylish look is accentuated by the all-gold hardware.
