Jackson's history dates back to 1970, intersecting with the turbulent rise of hard music styles rooted in metal. Metal players immediately took to these instruments and to this day Jackson guitars are designed especially for them. Legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne) has a hand in this, as he and Jackson designers drew the Concorde guitar design on a paper napkin in the early 1980s, redefining the sound of the metal guitar forever.

The JS series guitars offer a classic Jacksonian look and feel enriched with a host of modern features. Getting your hands on a Jackson guitar has never been easier!

The body of this guitar is made of poplar. The maple neck, which is bolted to the body, is perfect for fast playing. The amaranth fingerboard, which has a compound radius and flattens towards the body, is adapted to this. There are 24 jumbo frets. The typical shark fins made of mother-of-pearl serve to orient the fingerboard. The gauge of the instrument is 648 mm, the width of the zero fret is 43 mm. The neck and headstock are surrounded by a white binding.

The strings are anchored in a double-locked Floyd Rose tremolo with two locks, the tuning is done by Jackson's precision Die-Cast mechnics. Of course, there is a Floyd Rose zero fret lock. All of this means your guitar will stay perfectly in tune no matter what you decide to do with it.

Two humbuckers take care of the pickups, which are switched by a three-position switch. There are also volume and tone controls.
