The Concept series of the American brand Jackson represents a kind of superstructure of the Asian series. With fully pro-grade specs and features commonly seen in American custom models, the Concept series electric guitars are primarily aimed at players with higher demands.

The Dinky models offer the popular Superstrat body shape. The body of the Concept Series DK Modern MDK HT8 MS Satin Black eight-string guitar is made of linden. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Jumbo-size stainless steel frets is glued to a bolt-on three-piece maple and wenge neck. The currently popular Multi-scale concept, i.e. fitting the fretboard with diagonally placed frets, gives the instrument a variable gauge (648 mm - 699 mm) and the strings optimum tension. The radius of the fingerboard flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shredding at higher positions. The luminescent dots on the side of the fingerboard make it easy to find your way around, even in the twilight.

Two active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers give the guitar a punchy, aggressive dynamic sound. By switching between the two pickup voicings (push/pull tone shutter function), it offers the best of both worlds - the full aggressive push of the active pickups and the dynamics and punch of the passive ones. Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by mounting the strings through the Graphtech TusQ XL zero fret in lockable company-branded drives and through the solid Hipshot 8 bridge through the body. You'll also appreciate the rollers with locking strap buttons.
