The TOD70 seven-string electric guitar by Ibanez is the signature model of Tim Henson, guitarist of the American band Polyphia, which belongs to the emerging generation of bands that are bringing instrumental prog rock back to the limelight.
The body of the guitar is made of American linden. A roasted maple neck with graphite bracing is joined to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets. The fingerboard surface is embellished with a pearlescent inlay in the Tree of Death design, and luminescent markers on the side give you perfect visibility of the movement on the fingerboard even in twilight.
Two Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature humbuckers offer the aggressive and warm dynamic sounds of humbuckers, the character of modern single-coils, and even the ultra-clean sounds of Tim Henson's electro-acoustic guitars. The three voicings of both humbuckers can be switched between using the push/pull function of the tone control.
The strings are held in Gotoh MG-T locking mechanisms and Gotoh T1572S tremolo with steel saddles and die-cast zinc tremolo block. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a shiny silver finish and chrome hardware.
The guitar comes in a gig bag. Multitool included.
