The TOD10 electric guitar from Ibanez is the signature model of Tim Henson, guitarist of the American band Polyphia, which belongs to the emerging generation of bands that are bringing instrumental prog rock back to the limelight.
The body of the guitar is made of American linden. A roasted maple neck with graphite bracing is joined to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets. The fingerboard surface is embellished with a pearlescent inlay in a Tree of Death design, and luminescent markers on the side give you perfect visibility of movement on the fingerboard even in backlit environments.
Two Custom Tim Henson Fishman Fluence humbuckers give you the aggressive and warm dynamic sounds of humbuckers, the character of modern single-coils, and even the ultra-clean sounds of Tim Henson's electro-acoustic guitars. You can switch between the three voicings of the two humbuckers using the push/pull function of the tone control.
The strings are held in Gotoh MG-T locking mechanisms and Gotoh T1502 tremolo with steel saddles and die-cast zinc tremolo block. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by the silver color finish and chrome hardware.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
