The Japanese company Ibanez needs no long introduction to guitarists and bassists. The instrument is fitted with two Ibanez passive pickups, namely a Dynamix P at the neck and a Dynamix J Single Coil at the bridge. The sound from these can be controlled by two Volume potentiometers (separate for each pickup) and a two-band EQ with bass and treble controls. This combination of pickups and other electronics makes it completely seamless to get a large number of sound settings while maintaining perfect tone color and dynamics. The strings are anchored in a B10-type headstock, whose stones give the strings a pitch of 19 mm.
