Electric guitars from the RG series of the Japanese brand Ibanez are among the most famous instruments of this type. Their flatter, faster neck, lighter weight and distinctive cutouts with stylishly pointed horns for easy movement across the entire fingerboard are the reasons for their extraordinary popularity among rock and metal guitarists.
The ash body of the RG470AHM-BMT is adorned with a gloss lacquer finish and Blue Moon Burst color scheme. The Wizard III profile fast neck and fingerboard are made of maple. Twenty-four jumbo-sized frets and black position dots divide the fingerboard surface.
The combination of two proprietary passive humbuckers with ceramic magnets and Alnico single-coil pickups gives the guitar a balanced sound with a fast bass response and punchy mids, which you'll appreciate when you're "riffing" faster. Standard sound adjustments include volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch.
The strings are housed in the company's tuning machines and Edge-Zero II double-turn tremolo, which you can use to embellish your playing with impressive sound effects. Locks on the zero fret ensure tuning stability when using the tremolo lever frequently.
