New Electric Guitar / HN276084
Headless electric guitars from the Q (Quest) series represent a completely new concept within the Japanese brand Ibanez. In addition to the headless design, it offers a variety of features, i.e. a lightweight ergonomically shaped body, R1 and Q58 pickups specially developed for the Q series and mechanics (String Lock, Mono-Tune) that maximize the instrument's sound quality and playing comfort.
The body of the QX52 MGM is made of nyatoh wood. Glued to the neck made of three pieces of heat-treated (or if you prefer, baked) maple and exotic bubinga is a fingerboard made of grafted maple (also heat-treated) fitted with twenty-four Jumbo-size stainless steel frets. The 8-degree fret angles cater to the modern player, with the matching fretboard ideally suited to the tilt of the hand when playing finger technique, tapping or slapping. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearlescent position and side luminescent dots, which give you a perfect overview of the movement on the fingerboard even in twilight.
Two Q58 humbuckers developed specifically for the needs of headless guitars give the instrument a clearly defined sound balanced across the entire frequency spectrum. The dyna-MIX 10 pickup switching system (a five-position blade switch and a two-position alter switch) offers ten different pickup connection options, where you can easily switch between humbucker and single-coil sounds in standard and power tap modes.
The strings are anchored in a one-piece String Lock mechanism for easy and quick string changes and separate Mono-Tune pickups.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
