The Japanese company Ibanez needs no long introduction to guitarists and bassists. The front of this acoustic bass guitar is made of spruce wood, while the sides and back are made of mahogany. The body of the instrument is of the Grand Concert type, which means that even dry it produces a loud and powerful sound that will easily make its way among other instruments. The neck is maple and the rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets. The scale measures 813 mm, the width of the zero fret is 43 mm.
The fingerboard was made of rosewood and the tuning is done with die-cast mechanics in chrome finish. There is a black pickguard to protect the lacquer and a rosette inlaid with tortoiseshell,
The bass is equipped with a sub-coil piezo pickup and active electronics with a preamp equipped with a built-in tuner and two-band equalizer.
