This electric guitar from the Japanese brand Ibanez is the signature model of the famous guitar wizard Joe Satriani.
Among the clear hallmarks is the combination of the signature Satchur8 humbucker from the respected Di Marzio brand with a SUSTAINIAC Driver neck single-coil, which provides the guitar's sound with endless sustain. The Sustainiac function is activated by a push/pull tone diaphragm potentiometer, and a three-position switch selects the mode in which it will operate (harmonic, normal, mixed). The push/pull function of the guitar's second potentiometer activates the high pass filter, so the instrument's sound loses none of its brilliance (treble) even at lower volumes.
The body of the instrument is made of lime wood. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and purpleheart/amaranth wood, and is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with twenty-four Medium frets. The rounded fret edges (Premium fret edge treatment) provide players with greater playing comfort, while white position dots make it easier to navigate the fingerboard.
The strings are mounted in a double-reverse Edge tremolo, which adds impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret guarantee tuning stability when using the tremolo lever frequently.
The guitar comes in a gig bag. The package includes a multi-tool.
