The AZES (or AZ Essentials) series of electric guitars take the tone, versatility and great playing characteristics of the AZ series and offer them to a wider range of musicians thanks to their more affordable price point. However, these instruments also have their own specifics - a 635mm gauge, a one-piece mono-unit output jack, or comfort round steel saddles that allow for a wider range of string height adjustment.
The body of the AZES40-PPK is made of poplar. The maple neck is glued to a jatoba fingerboard with twenty-two Medium-sized frets. The position dots make it easy to navigate around its surface.
The combination of an Accord humbucker and two single-coil Essentials pickups (all passive pickups with ceramic magnets) gives the guitar a balanced tone and sonic versatility - the instrument will find a place in a wide range of musical styles. The dyna-MIX 9 pickup switching system (five-position blade switch and two-position alter switch) offers nine different pickup options, including split humbucker coils or single-coil series wiring.
Strings are anchored in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines (split-shaft) and the company's T106 tremolo. The stylish look is accentuated by a practical pickguard and chrome hardware.
